选派精兵强将驻村挂职九分山、一分田，这就是双头村的自然状况。二是在村民养老、医疗保险、文化教育上，落实惠民政策，提高村民、贫困户的民生保障水平。

全村2442人、516户，分散居住在东西长约7公里的山沟中，山地面积占总面积的92%。实施就业扶贫产业扶贫脱贫攻坚，成败在于精准。

驻村工作组对双头村贫困户家庭信息进行收集，经过仔细筛选，最终确定72户贫困户201人，其中一般贫困户33户102人，低保贫困户29户89人，五保贫困户10户10人，并对72户贫困户完成建档立卡。保利南方集团作为中国保利集团的一级子公司，与其控股企业保利地产和参股企业深圳市卓宝科技股份公司一起，对口扶贫广东省兴宁市双头村。50名贫困生领到助学金今年8月份，镇驻村干部、村委成员与驻村工作组在双头小学召开学生家长座谈会，详细了解学生就读情况，制定《爱心资助贫困学生活动方案》，并于9月28日开展了保利南方、卓宝科技爱心资助贫困学生活动，为32户贫困家庭的50名贫困学生送去教育帮扶资金，每个在读学生一学期资助1500元生活费。保利南方集团的工作人员还为老人们分发健康宣传资料及日常用药。

该村无种植加工企业、无特色农副产品、无自来水、交通不便、河道淤塞严重、残障病人较多。为老人进行健康体检双头村地处偏远，交通不便，经济落后，村里没有卫生室，很多村民从未进行过健康体检。

保利南方集团积极争取国家、省、市的项目资金，加大双头村的基础设施建设，制订双头村道路硬化计划，并积极争取农村道路改造专项资金支持，支持帮助村民落实安全饮水问题，帮助村民改善水利基础设施，协调、调动村内资源，发挥卫生站的基本医疗保障作用，改善通讯设施建设和维护。帮在点子上，扶到根子上。
